Growth

Lifelong Learning

We emphasize the importance of continual growth and learning in all aspects of life—academically, socially, and spiritually.

What Is AIC?

AIC stands for Acceptance in Christ (Romans 15:7) because we believe that every child should be free to be who Christ created them to be. We believe that each child is unique and that learning styles vary. All styles should be incorporated into the classroom. Our goal is to create a culture of acceptance among the students and faculty. This does not mean we accept bad behavior, but we look to find the qualities that make each child special. Putting the focus on how a child learns best enables them to achieve more.

We offer flexible scheduling allowing you to pick and choose classes that fit your needs and schedules. All of our classes meet both Monday and Tuesday, except for our Last Steps classes which meet once a week for 2 hours and will count for High School credit.

We employ a multi-sensory approach, which research shows to be beneficial for many types of neurodivergent kids including those with ADHD and high-functioning Autism as well as neurotypical children. Our hybrid functions as integrated classrooms combining neurodivergent and neurotypical kids in one learning environment. Private conversations are encouraged if you are unsure if our program could meet the needs of your child.

AIC offers 6 levels of learning that students can switch between based on their skills in each area. Each level is detailed below. If your child has taken an AIC course before, we will send recommendations to you about where to place them for each skill. If you are new to AIC, use the guides below to place your child in Math, Language Arts, Science, and History.
